Bathroom Remodel | Stillwater, MN
Project Details
After we had previously remodeled their wet bar, Tim and Sonya Merten asked us to return to their home for a master bathroom remodel. We were happy and excited to work with them. When we started there was not only a jacuzzi tub, but also a shower with dingy existing tile. The shower also had a dated brass framed glass door. There was also a full wall separating the sink from the toilet that created an awkward layout. We removed the full wall and replaced it with a partial one to create a more open flow and comfortable layout. The Mertens also worked with our interior designer, Natalie Reisselman to create a new tile design to surround the shower. We also used the best of Ferguson’s plumbing fixtures to completely update all faucets, and replace the jacuzzi tub. Along with completely demoing and redoing the plumbing and electrical, we also added new tile to the shower base. We had custom cabinets built and installed. The Mertens loved the current bathroom entry door, but decided that it needed to be freshened up. We were happy to not only sand and refinish this door, but also update the windows. Our customer’s end all hope was that we could not only bring a facelift to their existing space, but also take advantage of the beautiful natural light to help brighten their bathroom.
