For years, local artist Mike Helke had been creating his beautiful pottery in his family’s basement. Whether it was the endless walks up and down the stairs, or the amount of dust his family was exposed to, this space was not conducive to his creative needs. Enter St Croix Carpentry. We were excited to work with Sala Architects to help Mike’s dreams become a reality.
Meticulous hours were poured into designing, creating and building this unique space. Our top priority throughout the process was bringing to life every detail Mike had been dreaming of for his space. Building from the ground up brought many challenges, but our skilled team of craftsmen were able to adapt to new challenges, and complete the perfect creative space for Mike to continue crafting his one of a kind art.
